SPARKS SPECIAL NEEDS CHEER/DANCE SQUAD
Special Angels Recreation is proud to add a Cheer/Dance Squad to our programs. “SPARKS” which stands for Special Angels Recreation Kids is the first ever cheer/dance squad in NJ. We go to competitions and sports programs to showcase and perform. We are hoping to make arrangements for our girls to perform at professional sports half times in Northern New Jersey. Our girls have done very well their first season out there. They made the front cover and were featured in the June issue of Our Meadowlands Magazine read by over 40,000 families, they are accepted and admired by their typical peers, we were invited to cheer for the State Assembly in Trenton by Assemblyman Scalera, we have been invited to march in several parades and we’ve won many awards. Bergen County Sheriff Leo P. Mc Guire adopted our girls as his Official Cheer Squad. To be a part of our Squad you must attend our booked events on the road so be prepared. We want the world to see our girls we are very proud of their hard work. We look for sponsors to help with the cost of this program and a fundraiser will be done through the season. This program runs in the winter and spring.
Girls between the ages of 8 and 18 will be practicing on Monday evenings at 6:30pm in Lyndhurst. There is a minimal fee for registration which will help pay for the cost of running the program. We will take a child from any town or county.
